New phone time v. LG G4 bootlooped

I only have the G4 and lower grade Samsung OLED (1920x1080) to compare. The G4 has the old-time display which is dimmer, not quite uniform, less saturated, and has a lesser viewing angle. Obviously the Samsung is better other than the resolution. I could imagine an OLED somewhere in between...

Were you watching at home? Low frequency makes me sick. Somehow the body absorbs the sound to the intestines.

Calling emergency services is probably not the best first option here due to the high costs. I'd prefer a system that contacts a call center of some kind.

Phones are bulky and no place to put them all the time. I mean those small boxes that can also go around the neck or arm. The main issue is finding a number, deciding who to call, etc. Apparently it is difficult to think clearly during hypoxia from heart attack or stroke.

If the lens axis is perpendicular to the target it shouldn't matter. ;) The most important part is to confirm that the calibration works under conditions of use. It probably won't matter much on an f/5.6 lens, but many lenses suffer to some degree from focus shift from wide open to stopped...

You are really stuck on the size, eh? :D I think it is for the wide open users and probably optimizes the design performance vs. cost. I'd take the Nikkor any day of the month.

I don't recall of they are additive or exclusive. If only that lens is way off and similar at longer distances I'd suggest sending it in for service. The 200-500 is not very sharp at 500mm from the test charts and your copy may be worse than some. Don't you need to set the AF MFT at both ends...

  17. LunarMist

    dSLR thread

There is quite a bit of difference, but -20 is not good to use if you need -25. Do your other lens backfocus that much and have you tested the lens at a bit longer distances? I'm not seeing that you are focusing on a perpendicular target, so there may be AF errors from the angle. A line of...

I was expecting to die from the tumors or maybe a heart attack later on. In the case of the former there would be enough time and the latter it would not matter. I was not anticipating a rapid slide to being non compos mentis and then an excessive survival period thereafter. :(

Well, I have basically have no chance at reaching that even if I had someone to care for me. Dead bodies can be gross and smell, but the dying process over 3-4 days is just terrible for the observers. I know that is relatively short compared to some extended hospice. I really need to have my...

WD Demos SD Card with PCIe Interface

That's not an apt analogy. CF Express and XQD provide modern PCIe interfaces. Perhaps you are thinking of the archaic CF or soon-to-be-archaic CFast. My point is that yet another form factor with a similar PCIe interface is just annoying, though this appears to be an M.2 substitute. Ideally...
