Tools for pulling CAT6A cables through walls

Something worth checking, is your states regulations regarding internal cabling. (Is there a state/federal requirement for licensed/registered persons to do the work). Also, having done lots of cabling in the past, whilst there is a sense of achievement in DIY, the WTF moments on trying to feed...

POJ Panasonic CF-51 is dead. Only lasted 17 years....RIP Laptop suggestions?

Unfortunately, I don't think you will (easily), especially with the heavy push for thinner/lighter laptops. If you want something with mechanical keys, then an external keyboard is your best bet. (There are quite a few 68key keyboards out there and even a few 49key ones). Actually, just found...

    10 gig Ethernet

Mirroring what H mentioned, it's best to use the same vendor SFP+ transceivers as the card being used. However we've had some good experiences with 3rd-party transcievers from FibreStore (https://www.fs.com/), as they make transceivers to suite vendor specific cards.

I don't know what it's like in the US, but here in Aus, there has been a significant increase in going after "soft" targets, especially small companies that deal with large sums of money but won't have internal IT or even dedicated IT budgets, eg small legal firms, small real-estate agents, etc...

Sounds like the sysadmins have left the default settings in place then. (disable NTP client access, have the client sync with the nearest DC or locate the PDC).
