One thing Moz offers is the ability for developers to add plugins.. this allows almost infitite possibility for enhancements to the browser. I guess one that that would be useful is spell check for the forums (heh). I'm a poor speller and I make typos when I am tired or have other things on my...

uhh... strange memory problem... more = slower?

na... I haven't had a chance to burn the BIOS to CD. Right now I'm using 2x256MB sticks of Crucial so it doesn't effect me. When I reboot next I'll flash to the new BIOS though.

dang it.. that reminds me, I forgot how to use VI.... anyway, I think the main browsers are great. Perhaps we've reached the limit of HTML and CSS... maybe it's time for a new technology to arrive. webpages have come to the point where they are becoming less and less like notepad and more...

I'll play some HL on a Samsung 172T in a day or so and see how well it works... for full motion video (~30fps) I think any current generation 17" LCD would be fine.. probably all 19" LCDs as well. I think Samsung and NEC/mistsubishi are highly regarded in both CRT and LCD monitors... When looking at LCDs, I don't think I saw a single Samsung with a dead pixel. The Samsung I ordered was flawless, I think this speaks something about the quality of them.

    Networking Question

Prof. you're getting the network topology model wrong. There is a central server (the ICS/game server) and all the clients connect to it.. all the clients send/recieve data to/from the server, the server processes all the data, so the clients don't EVER talk to each other directly. If you...

    Considering K7S5A Pro

If you're interested, the Shuttle AK32E provides USB 2.0 via the VT8235CD southbridge. If you don't want to be limited to the kt266a northbridge then the Asus A7v8x-x is looking to be a competitive budget board at $70 (inlcuding USB 2, LAN, and audio). The cooling the boxes is actually pretty good (design wise). If you want it to be quiet, use cool components and a slow fan. If you want to run the hot components use the stock fan or something faster. The ss51g I built uses 512MB PC2700 and a passive Radeon 9000 for DVI, along with a 80GB DM+9...

Shuttle makes flexATX boxes (or atleast clost to it). They use a heat pipe that they call the I.C.E ... in my opinion it's the best invention for cooling PCs yet. Using a single 80mm fan you can cool the CPU and the case simultaneously with minimal of noise (think sub 2000rpm 80mm fan). I am...
