    Best movie you've seen

I finally got around to watching Avengers: Age of Ultron for the very first time last night. I'm just a little bit behind on my Marvel movies. It was enjoyable. I thought the sound was a little quiet FWIW (compared to other movies played at the same volume setting).

But is it really a concern to home users? They'd need physical access to the machine to run such an exploit in which case you've already got a bigger problem.

Yep, that scene definitely stood out as being :cooler: I also watched Inferno. It was okay. Not great, not terrible. The other two were a little more "follow the clues to solve the mystery" than this one. I didn't see the big plot twist coming. That took me by surprise.

Baby Driver was interesting. A somewhat different style of movie the way much of the action was synchronized to the music.

Hey now, I didn't say it was a masterpiece of cinema. Hacksaw Ridge was much much closer to being that than Passengers. However, this seems to be the thread where we talk about movies (despite the thread title), so I mentioned.

I finally got around to watching the 3D Blu-ray of Passengers last night. It was okay. Not exactly the action thriller the trailers made it out to be. Someone I know had previously told me it was more of a love story, so I wasn't exactly blindsided, but... I should be spending my Blu-ray...

The Lenovo T470s isn't bad either. I have one for my work machine. FWIW, Windows 10 is fine after you install Classic Shell and Spybot Anti-Beacon. BTW, there isn't a big performance difference between the last 5 years or so of mobile processors, but battery life has made noticeable strides...

Why are you looking at used anythings? Dell XPS 13 with Coffee Lake is what I'd be looking at. That, or the current model of the HP Elitebook 840 G1 that I have, which is the G4.

Net Neutrality is a nice idea in concept as the name portrays. IE: Not allowing the slowing of traffic. However, I don't trust the political party or the people pushing for what they call "Net Neutrality". They're a bunch of big gov't statists who want to control people and take away their...

That's a lot of data to be using on a phone IMHO. And, all the providers do the same thing with throttling on "Unlimited" plans. T-Mobile keeps adjusting it up also. It's set to some percentile, like 98% or something like that. So as their customers use more data the limit before throttling...

My initial impression is that this phone (Moto G5S+) is very nice. It feels nice in your hand. The UI is nice and responsive. The display is crisp and has good uniformity. This may be a "cheap" & "low-end" phone, but no one would know it by manhandling it or using it.
