problem My AVG FREE 2014 doesn't post the end time of a scan?

I don't see any anti-AVG conspiracy here. I don't use AVAST or MSE or any of the others either. If a user insists on AV they get NOD32. But it has been years since I've seen any coloration between machines with AV installed and machines that have viruses. I'm completely comfortable deploying...

problem My AVG FREE 2014 doesn't post the end time of a scan?

In case you were wondering. Merc really nailed it with that last post. The best AV can do it block viruses it already knows about and possibly ask "are you sure?" on Malware. Running without is not as crazy as it may sound; I would take a slightly educated user running Firefox and no AV over an...

Alternative folding support idea - mining for coins to fund F@H

So you are using the 270 over the 290 because of a bang/buck ratio? Or is it actually faster in this application for some reason?

I guess they just fit my frame better? I love the things. I've fallen asleep in them for 6-8 hours and woke up without being sore. The mesh is perfect for remaining cool and dry for prolonged periods. The two at home are also right in the middle of the living room, so appearance is a thing.

Fastest feasible system for Windows 98se?

The best place for 98 to live is in a Virtual Machine. There was no proper GPU acceleration anyway, and this resolves many of the device driver issues.

I love the full-sized units. I've purchased three over the years, with the cheapest being about $800 for the PostureFit and about $950 for the executive. The OfficeMax special chairs at the house are starting to fail after a decade, and I'd love to pick up a pair.

    Your first computer?

My elementary school had a lab full of Mac Classic IIs that no one used because no one knew how to use them. IIRC, they sat there for 3 years before they were removed and the space converted to a classroom. I don't even know if they were switched on once.

For arrays of rackmount systems, it lets you identify a machine from the front/back and then see which machine is lit from the other side. When you press the button, a light goes on in back and front of the same system. If you have 42 1U machines in a rack and need to work on one, it is handy to...

    Your first computer?

My dad gave me an Epson HX-20 when I was 10 with no support or documentation. I didn't get very far with it. The first computer at home was a 386-33 that I wasn't allowed to play with. When we got the 486-66 my father installed a CD-ROM that required a cartridge system so we could look at a...

It looks like the Note 10.1 currently being offered by Verizon is not the 2014 edition. In my role as Santa I've been tasked with securing several of these things. Google is not giving me what I want. Does anyone here have word on a release date for a 4G capable Note 10.1 2014? Thanks!

    Ubiquiti Networks airFiber

Let me know how it works. I'm holding out on some 16km and 22km links that look perfect for their AirFiber 5Ghz product (both ends are in the boonies, owned by us for 10+ km, and no other sources in the background either).
