What do you think of this laptop?

Just grab a 12 volt auto battery, a DC/AC invertor and a 100W incandescent light bulb. Prob get better battery life, and less heat ;) Seriously tho Greg, the first gen of any Intel mobile line can usually be avoided. Half the speed of your desktop i7?

This is not the first time Steve has made idiotic decisions. Like going Motorola etc. We'll see what happens when Android, Palm et al get Flash, and the iphone is the "odd man out". I think what Steve really fears is that Flash, being the greedy POS software it is, will show up at least the...

    Good, actually silent refrigerator

Makes sense. It would have such a large thermal mass that it would be unaffected by the less than 1KW being put in. Sort of like geothermal (good if you have a river you can sink pipes in, otherwise drill into the ground). Savings are pretty significant over the long run.

I believe the Aus labelling laws require the listing of standard drinks equivalent, to help us with the .05 #78 limit. Therefore you get bottled drinks of hard cider where even justthe one bottle will get you blowing over.
