It is my observation that the message remains in the composer's Outbox until they logout. Once the Composer logs off the forum, the message is actually sent, and when the composer log's in again, they will notice that the message is now in their Sentbox.

That is a good looking cat Doug - Nice clean coat, eyes and ears look good, and its weight looks just about right too. All in all, my armchair veterinarian skills tell me you got yourself a healthy critter.

Blake, I just tried the eicar.com test file, and (when I finally got it to actually save to my intended target, without the AV cancelling the d/l) I was able to manually delete it without any problem.

Am I the First to Have It ?

Oh my Tea, didn't we wake up on the wrong side of the world today. EdT, you'll have to excuse the furry one, she's not usually all uppity like this -- especially to new members! I suspect that Tannin simply hasn't arrived back from the bush yet, and the cupboards are bare at home. Hunger, you...

Seeking suggestion for Stand alone DVD player

Evil dual posting... Anyways, in Eugene's SACD thread in SR's pub, last night I asked what was so special about the Philips 642 (no replies). It looked like very cheap junk, and apparently does not do DTS (if that matters)...although it appears to do just about everything else except make your...

MSI also has a DVD/CD burner combo drive that embraces that new fangled technology they call cereal-eighty-eh. LiteOn was (so says the rumour mill) supposed to have released something in July, but for whatever reason never followed through. SATA...what a joke....now back to my regular...

What a start to the Winter

    Firefox 1.0

A friend of mine has a lower end P3 system and, on it, FF renders graphics noticibly slower then IE. However, this cetainly isn't reflective of my overall experience, as on a whole, I find FF has snappier performance then IE on most systems I've tried it with.

    MAG 19" CRT Life

Which brings up the point that if your going to do that (graphics card with digital output), your going to want to make sure you buy a LCD that ihas digital input, as many of the lower end stuff is still analogue (i.e. Samsung xxxN models). This, of course, is not of a concern with the above...

That's the "Baldwin" or "model 30xx" of the 250 for MCE. I didn't think it was available from Hauppage yet. Thought you still needed to beg them or get it via an OEM. I was initially very intrigued by the Aria, but when it came out I kind of soured on it. I think it needs a lot of reworking...
