I'm sure he's making more money from starting Soylent than just about anything else he could have done. http://www.inc.com/will-yakowicz/2015-30-under-30-soylent.html

I tried Soylent once, it tasted like chalk. It's gotta be more healthy than what a lot of people eat (including me).

The major networks carry big sporting events that a lot of people care about. ESPN doesn't unless you consider SportsCenter or GameDay big sporting events.

I've used LastPass for almost a year. It's decent, but not perfect. It kind of sucks on my Android phone. Maybe I don't know how to use it correctly though.

RouterBoard (MikroTik) or Ubiquiti EdgeRouter - any good?

I looked into updating the firmware on my RouterStation Pro a couple months ago, but didn't find anything.

I've been running a Ubiquiti RouterStation Pro since 2011. After I got it setup it just runs, never had a problem with it.

    Android phones: Tips, tricks?

I had pretty much no issues after upgrading my LG G3 to 5.0, on the other hand my wife's phone had a bunch of issues. Factory resetting a phone is a PITA, having to do that to upgrade the OS is ridiculous. Why isn't /tmp being wiped by cron?

Computer science is one of those degrees where the things you learn are never outdated. Unless you go to a school with a bad program that teaches programming languages and syntax rather than algorithms and data structures.

No, I can run something on it if you'd like, but it will need to run on Linux. Also, it has around 2 TB of data on it already.

I bought one of the 8TB drives for around $280. Hopefully, it doesn't die with 8TB of data on it. That will take a long time to download from Crashplan.

Congrats! I don't think I've ever been to Eau Claire. My wife's cousin went to school at University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. Now that you're moving to Wisconsin you'll have to increase cheese curd and Spotted Cow intake considerably.

    Cruise ship with kid?

I would stay as far away from Carnival as possible. I've been on a Norwegian cruise. My wife and I are doing an Italian cruise this summer on Celebrity. Unless you're on the boat Clocker was on, the chance of having reliable internet access is pretty low from what I've read.
