    Bulletproof browser area?

If they need the Cisco VPN client, they offer one for Linux. It only supports IA-32 though. Otherwise, there are other VPN clients available. I would be surprised if Ubuntu doesn't come with one out of the box. Fedora does. For a Quicken replacement there's GnuCash. I just checked, it's...

    Suggestions for changes/enhancements to storageforum

I like the new mobile theme. It's much faster on my blackberry. One thing I would change is when clicking on new posts it would take me to the first unread post, rather than the top of the thread. The other problem I have is when viewing the default theme I can't switch to another theme without...

SSDs - State of the Product?

I got my X-25M G2 on Thusday, but didn't have a chance to install it until last night. I also figured out that trying to shrink then clone a LVM volume in linux is more trouble that it's worth. I ended up do a new install of Fedora on the X-25. Then I tarred up most everything on my old boot...

I have a stacked GE washer dryer combo. It looks like this. It came with my condo when we bought it. It seems to work fine. It's nothing fancy, but my clothes get clean enough. Based on when my unit was first sold, it's probably about 5 years old.

Windows pricing for OEM : unfair advantage

I don't drive to work. So, I walk to the train and then walk to the office when I get downtown. I do this even when it's below 0F and when there is 6 inches of snow on the ground. No one bothers to shovel their sidewalks here, so the snow gets packed down into some really slippery ice after a...

    Opinions on Google Chrome? APPS?

I think Chrome feels a lot faster because it's UI is not so damn slow. I don't think JavaScript performance is nearly as big a deal as everyone has been making it out to be.
