    Outlook Alternatives

What version of Outlook? Make sure you are completely uptodate with the patches, especially for Outlook 2000. Outlook 2002 by default won't allow you to open .exe attachments etc. I think in this case some user education could come in handy?

    NAV Keeps Getting Corrupted...Help!

I have a sorta similar problem. I have a 90 day trial version of NAV 2002. No matter what I do when uninstalling NAV 2002 (including uninstalling LiveReg and LiveUpdate), when I reboot, then reinstall NAV it gives me the same old date for my expired "subscription". Anyone know what key in the...

Nice Merc. I ordered one of these over the weekend: JVC XV-FA902SL DVD player Can't wait to hear what DVD-Audio sounds like. And being able to watch 7 dvds without getting up to change will also be handy.

    Do I need more RAM?

I have 384MB in my i8200. Got 128MB from Dell, and 256MB from Crucial. Get the PC2100 SO-DIMMS. I rarely if ever hit over 300MB use, unless I'm photo editing or printing very large files. Personally I use the dual Athy for such tasks nowadays. It is perfectly within the Dell warranty to...

How much would you spend on 2x 36GB drives?

If my CC wasn't in such critical condition I'd probably get one myself. Just the cost of two 36GB 10K drives is approaching the price of the complete machine. Actually the next model in the the server line looks good too, with dual gigabit Ethernet, and hot swap drives.

    Opening day tomorrow :)

Yes I read that this morning in the paper. You have to have rocks in your head not to wear orange during the regular season, there are so many crazy hunters out there, who will shoot at anything that moves. How you could mistake a human being for a deer is still puzzling IMO. I'm fortunate to be...

Poll:When will we reach the new 48-bit LBA limit?

Uncompressed video would be very nice Prof, but the next generation of high def DVD's will undoubtedly have very secure "copy protection". The closest you can get to D1 right now is with D-VHS and D-Theatre tapes, which hold close to 50GB and play over a secure Firewire connection. I don't see...

I still call bullshit on the figures. A rifled 24" 12 gauge barrel for a Mossberg 835 costs in the region of $120. A friend of mine uses a 20 gauge with slugs and they work fine on a deer. You have to be very careful when using slugs in a smoothbore barrel, if the choke is too full then the barrel could blow. Usually your...

The banning of legally owned handguns in England is a prime example of a complete failure. Crime with handguns is at an all time high, much higher than it was pre-ban. When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns. And whilst a beat cop may not be armed with a gun, an armed response...
