In Firefox, I have it set up so each tab has its own close X, and there is also the X at upper right in a static place. I use whichever makes sense. It would bother me not to have both options.

I fourth the decision. Been using Truecrypt since Fall 2007 with nary a problem. Between TC and SyncBack, I'm happy. I use Serpent for encryption and Whirlpool for the hash.

The HTC Evo 4G is basically supposed to be the HTC HD2 running Android instead of WM 6.5 along with minor hw changes. Incidentally, the HD2 is available at T-Mobile; $200 with a 2-year contract, $450 without a contract. That's an attractive price.

There are migratory birds that are nesting in some trees about 500 feet away (that's a bad guess). I tried my 70-200mm, but it's reach is still too short. Longer full-frame Nikkors seem too expensive for now. I certainly would like to get one eventually to shoot wildlife, etc.

I'm ogling the HTC HD2 with WM 6.5.x over here. It'll cost ~ $800 (none of the carriers here subsidizes handsets). There are rumors that the HTC HD3 will be out Oct. 2010 with WM 7 and very high-end specs. Maybe I should wait for that.

That would add to the landfills. My DVD player died, and I paid to get it "fixed". The fix didn't stick; they told me at the shop not to bother coming back if it died again because it was on its last legs. I'm cringing now as to what to do with it.
