Floppies really give me the irrits. I could burn onto CD/CDRW, but a thumb drive seems much easier. Sometimes still I absolutely have to boot into DOS from a floppy.

I think I have commented on this before--I'm the opposite. I find most flouro's too "cold", and with the blueish ones, I find the cold light lacks a significant amount of contrast to my eyes--to the point I find it difficult to focus--and this with a 100W compact flourescent versus a 75W...

Adblock used to crash FireFox when I visisted TechReport. Same symptoms as CityK describes. Very occassionally it wouldn't. Uninstalled Adblock and crashes stopped. I'd rather put up with the ads than have the browser crash.

Just checked a couple of sites that would not display correctly in 1.06 (IE specific code :x ) and they render just fine in 1.5B1.

I've been running it over the weekend. In combination with JRE 1.5_04, the Formula1.com website will crash every second or so visit. Apart from that, it is fine. page loading is vastly improved (speed wise) over a MOOX build (Athlon 64/P4 specific code optimisations) of 1.06

AMD's Cu process tech came from Moto(rola). IIRC though, there was some sharing deal between Moto & IBM. AMD might get the initial tech from elsewhere, but the bods turning it into production ready tech are AMD's process engineers. Why don't they do the lot? The R&D is humungously expensive...
