    iPhone syndrome

I think that you have to have a paid account to sync calendar and contacts on the iphone. That's what I told him, anyway. Whatever. I don't care. Somebody douchey enough to demand calendar and contact syncing for no job-related reason just because they have an ithing can afford to pay the extra $50.

I have a user who swears he isn't getting calendar and contact syncing on his iphone with a free Google apps account, but email is fine. Is that part of the deal for Gapps or do I need to move him to a paid account?

    Something Random

My goal for this week is to go to however many McDonald's it takes to get as many Rainbow Dash toys as I possibly can. I know too many people who would think that Rainbow Dash toys represent a thoughtful gift and also I suspect that saying this here will piss Coug off somehow. :D

Loss of system restore points when alternating between Windows XP and Windows 7

You really, REALLY shouldn't disable System Restore on a working Windows 7 machine. There's simply no other repair mechanism available for Windows 7. You can do a repair install on XP, but that's not an option on 7. 7's built-in backup with system image is sort-of useful and integrated with its...

    Android phones: Tips, tricks?

I need it. I obtain content from sources outside of Apple's control and at times I would like to be able to use that content with multiple applications. The new iPad - iPad 3

The new iPad - iPad 3

It's that 1.4lb. weight that I find bothersome. That resolution is much, much better than the ipad2, but as an e-reader or a camera, what the hell do you want with something that weighs two thirds of a kilogram? Well, and it still runs iOS. Maybe some Android hackers will fix that part though. :)

    New i7s

They aren't ALL too expensive. Entry level Sandy Bridge Xeons start at $200, comparable to Core i5 desktop chips. Desktop pc freezes when using either Win XP or Win 7 OSs

Desktop pc freezes when using either Win XP or Win 7 OSs

Well I just looked at this thread for the first time like 8 hours ago, but my intuition is that it's a motherboard issue just based on the variety and frequency of issues. It's relatively simple to slap in a different power supply and see if the issues go away. It's actually relatively simple...
