WTB: Socket A CPU with 266Mhz FSB

You probably have the Thermalright SK-7. Maybe it's the CPU we gave you a while ago. Along with a Abit NF-7 IIRC (which is now dead, I think).

Which chipsets supported 512MB PC133 modules?

Both 512MB sticks I'll receive are double-sided. The only thing I have so far to test them is a white-and-violet Compaq box with a VIA chipset that I still haven't identified (given by a customer who upgraded).

WTB: Socket A CPU with 266Mhz FSB

IMO, forget socket A. A Sempron 3000+ AM2 cost me 35$CAN and a cheapo motherboard for it (GeForce 6100-based) cost 60$CAN. I'll soon have 1GB DDR2 667MHz modules for 50$CAN each (next week, they now cost me 53.50$). 145$CAN gives you a modern platform instead of an unreliable museum piece...

Which chipsets supported 512MB PC133 modules?

I know the i810/i815 only supported 256MB PC133 modules. Ditto for the 440BX (that was only PC100 to make it worse). I don't remember the early VIA cheapsets for the first generation of Athlon (KT133 and KT133A). I'm pretty sure that VIA Apollo Pro 133T also supported 512MB sticks. I have...

Old isn't the word. Wimp is. I used to walk 5 miles to go to work (5 miles up, 5 miles down) some eight years ago, during winter and on snow covered streets. I could understand feeling sore after a 6 miles jog (but only if you aren't in shape at all) or a 60 miles walk. But walking 6 puny...

    Personal Dilemma

It's not the feat that's important, it's the moment. I wouldn't have sacrificed 4 months of training for two days worth of earnings. I would have felt like a betrayer to myself. It's your boss' responsability to find someone, not yours. Glad you didn't have to let go one or the other.

Using the (still buggy) FAH SMP client, you would more than double your ppd production. I use it on an X2 3800+ and I finish my units in time, although I'm sometimes close to the allowed limit. It is a test domain controller running Win2K3, so it is unused most of the time.

    Best movie you've seen

I liked it. Can it be more clear? Yes, there's plenty of blood, severed limbs and other injuries. It is crude, but not brainless (like someone you know well). And it's not gratuitous violence. It's violence with a meaning behind it. It's pretty clear by the end of the movie. It's no worse...

I've just had news about Ford's latest (vain) attempt at percing the minivan market : the Flex. This thing looks like a Honda Element.
