Why don't you just get something from Appro or Angstrom instead? DIY 1U rackmounts are often less efficient cooling-wise than OEM-made solutions. Unless you can assemble the whole system for a lot less (doubtful, rackmount parts aren't dirt cheap), you should seriously consider an OEM system...

JoJo, Did you check the md5sum of the ISO files you've downloaded for Fedora Core Test 2? Did you verify your medias (discs) during the installation at least once for each disc? Your problem could be with corrupted data and not with corrupted OS. It happened to me often.
