    Help wanted!....KTX CA6736SL monitor

I doubt you'll be able to find a circuit diagram of a specific monitor online. Your only chance would be that one of your fellow Aussie have one and send it to you. With me, you're out of luck. I never sold KDS monitors (no need to repair them either) and I'm a bit too far away to send you...

I would put the two CD writers and the Zip drive on the south bridge and the hard drives on the HBA.

Well, whatever the protein you'll end up crunching, you will blow the "best before" time limit with a P133. If you don't mind to do it, I'll wait.

    Beyond the 4 ide channels......

Without knowing at all how many hard drives / optical drives you'll have within your 6 IDE drives total, I would advise you to connect the optical drives to the onboard ATA controller of the south bridge and to connect your hard drives to the PCI ATA controller.

Why do I feel concerned? Something that you should know is that most of our members usually visit ALL the forums. That's why Groltz suggested you not to double post. Everyone will see it even if you post it only in a single section of our forums. Groltz isn't snobish at all FYI. Welcome BTW.

Just to verify this, could you please create a dummy user just for one protein and see if you get any credit after you have sent a result too late? BTW, congrats to Pradeep to have fixed his problem and restarted to crunch the F@h. We always need more help.

Somehow, I don't imagine Bill as an Afro-American. Good thing if he his (it would enlarge our ethnical background), but I just don't see him that way. And if Bill has French-speaking origins, well I think they are very far away.

It's alive! It's alive! I copied the beta4 in the same directory as the old beta3 (which I deleted) and it continued at 99/100. I might have my protein A completed within the 3 days delay afterall (I have until ~11pm and it's now 9:45am). I should know it in 34 minutes (the time it takes to...

After about 10 hours on Red Hat 7.3, I understand why many say that Linux is still a poor desktop OS. At least now with KDE 3.0, it's looking quite good, comparable to Winblows in many ways. But the snappiness just isn't there. Moving the windows often result in ghosting and visual artifacts...
