The other side to that is, every once in a while I need to cancel an order and find out that I can't because it's already on the truck. Monitors, (non-Soltek) motherboards and cases are the only things I buy locally with any regularity. Newegg serves for everything else.

The reason I switched from Moz to Firefox is that several must-have extensions are Firefox only. I don't know where Tannin gets his "dumbed down" opinion - the UI is clearly better than Opera (then again, what isn't?) and almost everything can be modified or customized to one's approval.

I got to play with a video ipod today. The main thing that doing so did, was show me the weaknesses inherent in iTunes. iTunes is god-awful. You can't just copy files to an ipod through a file manager. Nope. God forbid you plug one in to a computer with a different library.
