I think the most obvious answer is an 8800GTS 320MB. Unless you still want ATI, in which case an X1950Pro is probably your best bet.

    Weird network problem

If you go back far enough, there should be the progress of the browser elections. Whether there were too many or too few, which computer had it last, etc.

    3Ware cables

That was me. At the time, I called 3Ware and bought them. They were put on the site not long after. The prices are still insane. Thanks ;) My current dream is that they will release internal hot-swap racks that hold 4 drives and sport an ML connector.

Lately I've put the computer games away; any time I'm at my computer with spare time, I'm playing with Linux. Any time I need to procrastinate from that, I'm checking the forums. I estimate I refresh this page ~40 times an hour.

Of course, before you saturate 16 cores with any of the above, you will want more than a single 7200RPM drive. But I/O is cheap these days; for the original cost of your SCSI gear, you could have a complete SSD solution!

2003 Web Server will support 16 cores (4CPUs @ 4 cores each). Saturating 4 cores is easy. Most of the things I do would benefit from more. Microsoft Spying???

Just leaving the door open wouldn't be enough; most of us have other "doors" between our workstations and an outside IP (firewalls, NAT, etc). It has to be something sent from the OS out. I don't use footrests because my position is constantly changing, my desk it 8' long. The seat bottom would be slightly too high in front, if it weren't for the tilt forward feature, which (when combined with the lumbar support) puts the back nicely vertical and supported at the same time.
