1.5TB laptop drive

HGST 2.5" 1.5TB hard drive

I really don't envy people who only own consumer-class laptops with room for a single drive. Yes, you CAN have more than 1TB of space local to your computer, but to do that you have to give up all hope or pretense of performance.

The writer does not know hard drive history. I feel urgently the need to set him straight, but I have no account.

The funny part is that Hitachi does not own Samsung, Seagate does. I must have at least 20TB of laptop drives, so I don't really need it. I'll probably buy at least one anyway.

Anyone find these yet? I don't know if they will be out in June or not.

It looks like a no go.

I smell fumes...

I see a few around at places like this, but they are not mainstream yet.
Does anyone have these drives? Perhaps there is no point.
