When I first read the thread headline I thought it was a typo. I don't recall ever using a 1:1 ratio monitor before. That would be nice to have the extra vertical space for coding and such. I doubt that's what this screen is built for though.

It's not a CG series monitor, so no. I'd pay plenty for a 2560 square display in the CG series though.

I really like that. Same as Lunar, it would need to be bigger and higher res to get me to jump from the Dell 30" or 32".

I posted that Phillips 40" 4k monitor in the "4k" thread. Now that is something pretty close to what I'd want before I upgrade.

I hope it works out. I'm not a fan of any VA panels though.
