It has a lower transfer rate than either the Seagate or HGST 6TB offerings while consuming just as much as the Seagate and significantly more than the HGST He6. Unless it is much cheaper than the alternatives, I'll pass.

Given the problems Toshiba drives have had, I wouldn't have much interest. I suspect it's just a 5x1TB platform.
