I didn't know that, but AVG acquired Crossloop back in 2012. The AV firm decided to shut Crossloop down yesterday.

It's domino time, the rest of the free service-based systems should disappear soon. This makes sense considering services cost money. I also believe that none of the non-service-based systems are easy/reliable enough to deploy. They are too sensitive to changing IPs/Firewall settings/etc.

I used TeamViewer to help my sister yesterday. So, there's at least one that still works.

Its bad news that Crossloop remote access tool is no longer available. Alternatively, you may want to consider a RHUB remote support server. It is fortknox.
