It's happening again : HP's shitty web site isn't working. I'm trying to download the drivers for an HP Z230 workstation I'm reinstalling and for the past half-hour, this is what I get when I try to access the driver download page :

"[h=1]Could not open page[/h]The service or information you requested is not available at this time.
Please try again later.

(Error: system-websrv_unavail)"


So helpful. At least I wait for Saturday evening to perform maintenance on the network I administer. Not early Monday afternoon.

Oh and their panel for the Proliant DL360 Gen 9 is a real piece of junk. I've bent the latch on one of the two I have to configure for a customer. I'm pissed beyond words. 8000$ for a turd with cheapo mis-conceived panel that even doesn't fit correctly. I think I'll shit inside the server before returning it to HP.

What would be the point? HP already did that, same as they do inside all their other products. Yours probably smells nicer though.

I'd forgotten that HP bought Compaq. HP Proliant still sounds wrong to me.

Parts of HP's web site not being available is just business as usual, as far back as the mid-90s. Shitting in its computers probably should be as well.
