Rumour: Bye bye Samsung HDDs

The interesting and important thing is that they haven't left the market yet. Someone will presumably buy the business unit and will probably continue to operate it. Hey, all we'd have to do is raise a couple billion in financing and we could take a shot at running a disk manufacturer ourselves. :D
 
What other divisions does Seagate have?

And why are the less desirable manufacturers buying the more desirable ones?
