I thought it was sufficiently random.
I found a tool that lets me download tumblr sites in their entirety about a week ago. Since then I've downloaded about five and a half million pictures.
My coworker and I stumbled across this website earlier today. We of course shared it with another coworker. The damage... About $50 per person. :rotfl:
Entertainment??? :idea:What are magnets used for in your job?
That's why we didn't get anything with a several hundred pound force rating. :rofl:Magnets are like lasers....fun until someone loses something
Not withstanding the extreme cost, dropping one of these on the roof of someone's car (who you don't care for) would be good for a lot of laughs.
I suspect they ship them in a box with a lot of padding around them so they're not close enough to the edge of the box to say attach to the floor of the UPS truck and stay there permanently. That is awesome. I wonder if they need to take any special precautions to ship these things? Put them in a cardboard construction large enough that the field strength outside the box is reasonable? Special labeling?
Edit: Though if you are going to ruin something that expensive, you may as well go all out (1700 lbs of force)
Put it on the hood and see what happens to the motor.
Slide it off the edge of the file cabinet?I spent a whole afternoon trying to get it unstuck.
Slide it off the edge of the file cabinet?
Uh... I haven't thought that far ahead. How will you play with them, SD?
Uh... I haven't thought that far ahead.
Probably play pranks on people with them. Use some as super strong refrigerator magnets. I'm sure I will find some uses.
1st, Let me fix your eye chart.
I'd be sure to send them a note and complain.... but apparently speedtest.net becomes unreliable at these speeds.
What is this? I want you to go to the Post office right now and get the item shipped out through USPS EXPRESS MAIL INTERNATIONAL SERVICE I do not want this tracking number I want USPS EXPRESS MAIL INTERNATIONAL okay?

Coug, sorry to hear that. Almost ALL my jobs were like that; company doing well when I joined, then in a year or two, they go bankrupt because the top management does something stupid. One job lasted all of 3 months before the company closed down. Hang in there, you'll find something. I survived. So will you.
Aren't you jumping to conclusions here? Have you discussed this with your supervisor? Why would they automatically get rid of you when they sell the company? Especially when the task you're working on isn't finished...You know that new job I started back in April? Well, the president announced us today that he has decided to retire and he'll sell the company in parts starting now. I haven't finished the project I 've been hired for so I very much doubt I'll be considered an added value to the company. I've lost most of the customer base of my own company so I don't think I'll be able to make a living by restarting to be self-employed. Basicly, I have until the compny shuts down to find a new job or I'm done. It is the fourth time this happened to me during the past eleven years.
Thanks. It's comforting to know that my employment history is comparable to someone living in India I'm SO eager to go to work this morning!
