Trouble.

I was doing a long-term test of the system after a final overclock. Left it on the bench overnight with very little load. Came in the next morning and the system was off. Turning it on causes the following:

1. No video
2. All three lights on the keyboard on solid and non-responsive
3. 2-digit POST code readout on motherboard goes to 00

Resetting the BIOS doesn't work.
Swapping out the video card doesn't work.
Swapping RAM doesn't work.

I'll have another CPU and MB that I can try tomorrow.

Don't try to reach the maximum overclock. Give yourself a lot of margin. No customer will be happy with a dead or unstable computer. If it means only a mild overclock, then it is. Better that than an angry customer.

Plus, it might be harder to complete an RMA with a fried component caused by excessive overclock.

I don't feel comfortable calling an overclock stable unless I know how far from "the limit" it is. This involves finding the limit.

I wish. Doing an OC is something I charge a flat rate for.
