I thought Windows 10 has less than 25% market share? This seems to confirm: https://www.netmarketshare.com/operating-system-market-share.aspx?qprid=10&qpcustomd=0 And the second link Newtun posted (trick or treat) indicates that the flaw exists in Win10, only Chrome has specific mitigations...

PC Gaming = World of Suck

Hard to say with Logitech, as they seem very shallow about their specifications/limitations... And unfortunately, most reviews that go over the NKRO issue in detail are over 5 years old, during the time when most keyboards dumped PS/2 support. I do know that all DasKeyboard's are advertised as...

Easy... Enable long paths in Windows. ( http://betanews.com/2016/05/29/long-paths-windows-10/ ) Update/reprogram all your applications so they solely uses the Unicode version of the Windows32 File API, and uses the UNC filename convention. And mark the application's manifest as being long...

    "THE" Cloud

Depends on the business size. SAP/Oracle (at least here in Oz) deployments start at AU$250K for the bare basic accounts system with ongoing annual support fees. Certainly not going to see it in SMB areas. In contrast QuickBooks, MYOB and Xero are roughly AU$1K deployments with very low support...

Sorry sed, but failure rates tend to follow a bath-tub curve (high failures within 6 months, low failure between 6-36 months, then high failures there after) with HDDs. Get your data off it, try the manufacturers diagnostic tool and get an error code, and return for replacement...

Unfortunately, with most telescammers being overseas from the targets, make it so much harder to track down and prosecute the people behind it. It's become a big problem here as well, we get calls calling to be from Telstra (the primary telco here), ATO (Aus Tax Office, aka IRS) or from...

I was under the impression most US GM was made in Mexico or Europe? To be honest, I'm not surprised by the shift to Chinese manufacturing. With Holden (GM Holden Australia) we have: Barina/Spark : Korea. (Daewoo/GM Korea) Astra: Poland/UK (Opel) Captiva: Korea. (Daewoo/GM Korea) Colorado...

More likely, it's Thailand, Japan, Mexico and Korea. The only Chinese made cars we have are direct from Great Wall/Havel and Cherry (both Chinese companies) and some VWs. I'm sure other manufacturers build in China for parts, but assembly is rarely done in China itself.

None of the majors. Pretty much all cars sold here are shipped in. There are still a few custom built cars done domestically, but even most of those are from kits. Some bikes are still put together from kits, but manufacturing is still done overseas.

I read about it, quite sad. But when botnets can produce a DDOS of over 1Tbps (http://securityaffairs.co/wordpress/51726/cyber-crime/ovh-hit-botnet-iot.html), it takes a lot of resources to mitigate against them. Seriously, most people I know have been calling IoT, BoT instead... (Botnet of...

My thoughts as well. A number of years ago here in Oz, a few manufacturers got pulled up on the same sort of issue, and apparently standards dictate power output is measured at the flywheel, and not what is actually driven through to the wheels.

Potential Upgrades to My New "Vomit Box"

+1, The Intel graphics drivers are top notch. (I have no issues with YouTube, etc on a Intel Atom N570 netbook, all video is handled by the GPU without issue). And the 850 Pro is a very good SSD. We have a few at work for testing, and they perform very well.
