I have been doing the cheap keyboard route. 10 dollar MSFT's from Buck, but, they seem to have dried up, so I've tried a couple inexpensive Logitech and another Kensington. All are prety much the same, and, the only thing that really sets them apart is the Seal Shield, which is supposed to be...

After having to create a new user name and password everytime I log into their website, I hope I'm done doing business with them. I have the two keyboards, and, I bought two covers. You might also look at the cheap, 2 dollar keyboards they have for sale. After spending 30 dollars for covers...

I have a pull out keyboard setup, under my desk. The cat gets the desk top, part of the problem with having the server and another keyboard, and the buckling springs are going on drawer, under the main desktop. This should stop any further intrusions, or spills. On top of that, I'm going to...

As much as I'm not a happy camper with these guys, they have some great deals on stuff in clearance: http://pckeyboard.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Store_Code=PCK&Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=BargainRack I bought a Kentucky bucking spring for 59 bucks, simply because it was too good a price to pass up...

    Companies that have burnt...

I can't really say Unicomp screwed me on this one, but, circumstances certainly did, and it's my fault for not putting the keyboard in the safest place, and spilling stuff on it. Still, all in all, if I'd known how this was going to turn out, I wouldn't have sent the keyboard back to them: "On...

Last malware I ran into was running a Czech Supermodel for images. EVERY page seemed to be malwared, and shut down by Nod32. I do use Nod32 at max settings, and the Beast runs it quickly. As Merc has pointed out, why not use a spare laptop I don't care about, just in case I run into a 'rootkit'...

Big screen phones? Anyone have a HTC Sensation?

I compared my phone to the Sensation. Appears the Sensation is a 1/2 inch wider. Not sure if it's worth losing the keyboard and the big battery. Seems like the phones should be about the size of a wallet to me.

I had four footed help. Still, the Unicomp seems to attract cat hair, any food particles, and funnel them through the keys to the board. Fit is already tight. Next time I'm putting it in the area that is protected by the desk, rather then on the desk. The Seal Shield seems to be a good...

Update: The unicomp did not take a hit from a wine glass well. Sending it back, and they are going to repair it. Almost not worth it, when you figure in shipping and fees. Panasonic CF 51 finally took a coffee cup on the keyboard, after 11 years. It's dried out, and appears to be in working...

Big screen phones? Anyone have a HTC Sensation?

My thought is it's sort of like having another wallet. My phone is about a 1/2" bigger then my wallet, either way, and half the width. I see no reason the screen couldn't be twice as wide, and still fit easily in my pocket. How's the speed on the EVO? I wonder if my 3600 battery would fit...

Kind of funny, in a way. My ex=roommate, when he was working at PG&E was trying to use SQL server, as it changed versions, and Sharepoint to organize PG&E's massive pipeline database. I guess he made poor decisions on software for the task.
