Heat management: Water Cooling in an Apartment?

HVAC and plumbing were included, but not for manufacturing facilities. Just office and warehouse spaces. Far simpler requirements, but for me the challenge was the budget, timeline, and diverse stakeholders. Cleanrooms are nuts.

Same. Some of the reasons I like the escape of the game version: It is solvable You have or can get the information needed to succeed You don't need to wait for permission to act If things go poorly you can just start over It is the ideal version of the world ;)

The reviews I've read on many of the small systems recommend getting a better power brick than the one they ship with. If nothing else for better efficiency, but sometimes voltage can be an issue as well.

These are the exact 3 games I've played in the last many years. I'm in Rust right now, on a cool Danish server with some rules that make it much less toxic.

I'm very happy that Intel is doing GPUs, but game devs still aren't putting in the work to make sure the experience is good enough. Even with AMD cards I feel the need to let the customer know that it is a "value" choice and that some compromises may be experienced. I can see several reasons...

Keep in mind that none of the modern CPUs will run anything near "cool" under most loads. They're basically designed to thermal throttle regardless of cooler. But that DH-15 is kinda famous for being the most effective air cooler ever made.

A friend lost his PC this morning, and with no money to spend, I pulled a machine from storage that had a 8700k and RX570. I was surprised how much faster his 1080 was to the RX570. 1080 was a great card.

    Need a Decent Phone

My phone isn't the newest (Samsung S22 Ultra), but it would benefit from something that isn't glass. It already feels like plastic (apparently it is "Matte Finish Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2", and some polycarbonate with high fiber infill or carbon fiber would work just as well and last longer.

Blowing up isn't a concern anymore, as GPUs and CPUs underclock and undervolt themselves automatically if thermals are an issue. Even though my CPU has the best performing AIO cooler on the market, it thermal throttles after about 5 minutes of synthetic load. Fortunately it is fast enough that...

In the US our daughter would use food delivery if she was home alone, as it was unusual for kids to go out for food on their own, and safety was a concern. Here it isn't a problem, and it doesn't hurt that she's already taller than most adults.

Housing prices weren't the reason we left the US, but coming to a place that isn't crazy was quite the revelation. Heat management: Water Cooling in an Apartment?

In the garage I just had a second radiator that I routed the heat to in the summer. In the winter it ran to a radiator inside the house. VMware Workstation is now free

The main offices were always ESXi based, but remote locations frequently only had one PC, and if there needed to be server-ish stuff running it would be using VMWare Workstation on their workstation. The entire PC would be imaged to a USB hard drive daily, and that drive would be swapped out...

I used it only a couple years ago for someone's personal project that needed virtualization, but with a more user-friendly UI.
