How would wine have a measurable inductance? I did work with electronic tongues some years ago. I think they had 7 flavor channels at the time, compared to 5 "tastes" for humans.

How would wine have a measurable inductance? You could probably measure the pH with a probe, but most DMMs are not set up for that.

Something funky was going down last night on the forums. Here is the OEM link without codes. http://www.klaruslight.com/index.php?m=content&c=index&a=show&catid=128&id=139 It fits nicely in the pants without being uncomfortable or noticeable.

There is something wrong with my replies. The threads are mixed up. I'm not sure about Chinese numbering, but the numbers are not formed the way I expect. It could be a Bulgarian I suppose. My tastes generally transitioned from sweet to savory in the 1980s for some reason.

I bought a few more lights. It's beginning to become a problem. One of interest is the new version of the XT-1C with the XP-L HI. It is quite bright for the size/weight (weighs only 65g w/battery) although only runs for a half hour on turbo. It is supplied with the 16340 that has the micro...

The distance would have to be so close that I could not see all of the pixels from center to corner without moving my head. I think it would be fine for office use and would consider one if it did not cause policy issues. Maybe Sedorkian could do it with his young eyes and not needing...

I agree. I know people in the office often use two monitors, but they are HD only. I see the value for reviewers of different materials often from different systems. I still use a printer though. Given there are cheap enough 4K displays, I would think that the human eyeball vision is fairly...

I'm not expecting all that much for $18, but the comparison with the Fluke is unlikely to be just luck. It has a label with handwritten foreign (Chinese?) voltages. I may buy a 60,000 count meter later on, but the schedules are so hectic now that I probably should wait until after November 9.

I don't like that sweet stuff. After dinner there should be coffee. :) Lately there is a trend for the rosé wines, but I don't really like them. We have decent wines in CA, so I don't need to buy any of the foreign ones anymore.

From what I can decipher the AD584 chip was made in 1997 and the Chinese allegedly measured the voltages in 2017 at 25°C with a 34401A. I don't like that temperature, so I used 21°C. It is amazing that after nearly 25 years the measured values are within ±1 in the LSD compared to the...

It matters to me. :) OTOH the color temperature of a flashlight not so much. I'm sure DD would say it matters if a vehicle takes 4 vs. 6 or 8 seconds to 60, but in the city it wouldn't matter much to me either.

I have a fundamental issue with measurement error. NMT 1 ppt (0.1%) is just how my brain functions, and even that seems high. I'd probably get a bench meter if more accuracy and resolution were needed. My Fluke was fine, but I have no idea after 25 years. I will find one of the precision...

I have a Fluke 8060A/8062 or some DMM about 25 years old. Is it worth calibrating or even possible? What today has comparable accuracy and quality? Most of the stuff on the Amazon looks cheap and unreliable. Thanks.
