    World Cup 2002

<Back on topic> Germany 8, Saudi Arabia 0 – a sad state for Saudi Arabia, but certainly not a game worth bragging over for Germany. We’ll see how Germany can stand real opposition from Ireland and Cameroon. Nevertheless, the goals were great to see.

I thought that my crunching power was sustaining my position reasonably well. However, I see Jo_Jo approaching at a pretty quick pace. Unfortunately for me, there won't be anymore systems to hook, hopefully some to lose (money in my pocket, you know).

Crappy Folding Performance - Please Help!

Clocker, how did you get the two instances to run? On my Dual PIII I installed the software twice in two different directories, and then launched each one separately. However, when I launched the second executable, I got a message telling me that the program was already running. One thing I...

Handruin takes the lead as he pulls away from Bartender. CougTek struggles in third. Clocker is keeping pace with CougTek. Cliptin and The_JoJo struggle as they attempt to keep pace with Clocker. P5-133XL and Prof.Wizard lag behind the pack as they race neck-and-neck. Tea comes bolting out...

Handruin and Bartend fight for first place, and Bartender takes the lead. Cougtek pulls away from Cliptin and sees Handruin in the distance. Tea is still clamoring at the gate insisting the race is unfair.

Coming out of the gate Handruin takes the lead. Bartender is running a close second. Cougtek is desperately holding onto third as Cliptin closes the gap with a steady pace. In the rear The_JoJo and Clocker race neck and neck with Prof.Wizard providing some competition for the two. P5_133XL...

Should we switch from the Genome@home to the Folding@home?

I must be sampling too much. Correction: wart should be spelled wort, and I'm past the stage of the mash vessel. The wort is being separated right now. I'll send the strained out sweet barley to our farmer boys over at THG tomorrow morning. Then I'll move the wort to the brew kettle.

Sorry Professor, I'm not that advanced - they only keep the coffee warm. Hopefully this evening or later on in the week I can switch over to the new client. I have lot's of work to do. The sour mash needs to be put in the still, the wart for my lager needs to be turned to keep the temp right...

    Best Mac Apps

I haven't been drinking anything for a while, maybe that is the problem. I worked with QuarkXpress on Macs until 1996. Then I switched to PCs. My first Windows version of Quark was 3.0. Presently I'm using 4.1 and I've never had an issue. What I've liked about Quark for Windows is that the...

I know this is of no help, but my favorite Mac apps were QuarkXpress and Adobe Photoshop (I was never a big fan of Aldus PageMaker). This was back in 1990, when our interent connection of 900 baud, so IM and EMAIL were non-existant in the shop, and MP3, what is that? :) We didn't even have a...
