It's under settings, backup, advanced settings. You can turn off both compression and encryption. I don't know if that will lead to file-wise backup, however.

Digital broadcast is a lot less forgiving than analog was. Even when I had an almost straight shot to the tower from which most of the channels here broadcast, there were ones that I couldn't get all of the time. AT&T includes a DVR with my plan, so it'd be silly for me not to use it.

Well, if it has good color rendition, that would make a lot of sense. At least in the early days of LCDs, it was impossible to get a lot of creative professionals to switch, even for a secondary screen, as the colors did not display true enough.

They also allowed the software team to go way off the deep-end with add-ons. Which got even more complicated when they had to maintain both SPARC and x86 code. Now, they've added an ARM-based set of options, it's bound to be worse.

Netgear has really screwed the product line over. The SPARC-based devices were much more efficient.

It's not the standard. Neither LTE nor WiMax meet the standard. The ITU is just saying that if you used either of these technologies you can *call* it 4G, even though it's not.

This seems like a really Rube Goldberg way of moving heat. You might as well set up a system to use the heat from the computers to warm bricks, and then move them to the bedroom at night; it would be far more efficient. Why not just circulate the warm air?
