Having trouble getting it to work. This application has failed to start because d3dx9_30.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. I downloaded DX9.0c and have it installed AFAIK. Any ideas? Thanks, C

Try SuperAnti Spyware...really. It cleaned out a lot of stuff Spybot could not. Give the free version a try, it works great.

Lots of the newer nicer motherboards have LEDs or other lights that diagnose problems eliminating the need for an old-school speaker.

They sent me a whole new side panel (free of charge) when one of the tabs broke on my P180. Never even asked me to send them the old one. Their CS on their cases is pretty good for the most part.

My wife's co-worker is in the same power situation. They based their power usage on an estimate of how much power was used. Problem is that the estimate was based on a time when construction was being performed on the house during the winter when a ridiculous amount of power was being used...

Yeah, I misread that about Nissan. But they don't offer courtesy transportation or as good of a rust warranty. :-) No Onstar to do automatic vehicle diagnostics for you either... :-) The monthly e-mail I get from Onstar about my car is actually pretty neat.

My ripping is complete. There's about 5800 tracks and 34GB of music there. If anyone is interest in trying AllPeers, let me know. Only problem is that AllPeers limits to 300 files I think until a future release. Upgrading to 1Mb upload is just a phone call away, if needed...

For only $30 difference, I think you are better off going with a local store. I bet Microcenter will let you inspect first. You really should look at one in person before you buy, anyway, so just pick one up there if you like it. Just my $0.02.

That card should server you very nicely. The sound quality is very good, it's supported by everything and the drivers are very mature. You don't even need Creative's drivers and M$'s drivers work great. C
