    Burning program for backup

I'm in need of a program that will allow me to make either a scheduled backup of a folder to a CD-R/DVD+R or a "click-once" type of thing to do the same. Any recommendations? They wouldn't go for a proper tape-system :( At the moment I've got the burning program that comes with a LG DVD-+RW...

    ADSL/Cable in Adelaide

A client is moving to Adelaide for a year, and is in search for a internet connection there. He'd probably manage(like) with an upload speed of 128Kb/s+, due to the need to move lots of files and pictures of projects he's involved in. DL speed would be 256/512Kb/s+. What should I recommend...

    Motherboard nic speed difference

Ok, thanks. Googled through a lot of motherboards, and the new Nforce chipset might be something to have a bit later on. Some weird results still between TCP and UDP tests. Maybe I'll just put a fileserver on a P4C800-E. Thanks everyone!

    Motherboard nic speed difference

Allright, thanks. Is there something similar worth looking at on the AMD 64bit side? That would then have to be with a AMD64, not opteron or FX. One with a very good integrated NIC, preferably from Asus or maybe Epox (MSI...probably not/maybe...).

    Motherboard nic speed difference

Has anyone here used the Asus P4C800-E and Asus PC-DL motherboards? If so, what's your experience with them, good/bad? They both have the same Intel NIC, but do the both also use CSA then? Thinking about building a computer with one of them. NIC speed important. Thanks.

Oh boy, are they in trouble. Sound like "stuck in the zoo forever" to me. I'm afraid you might be right. I remember an episode on TV abuot elephants, where people where hunting and shooting them in Africa because there were too many elephants, compared to the food available. Too bad they...

    ADSL price war

Hmmm, funny. There seems to be a small price war going on here with ADSL lines. I pay 51 euros for my 1/512 line now. That will be upgraded to 2/512 for the same price. But I opted for the next version and ordered an 8/1 for 59 euros. :) How do these prices now compare to other cuntries?

    AD migration questions

There was some interest in this, so a few words. My friend who was doing this came to the less than good conclusion that a migration was a no go. From what I remember it couldn't be done. He ended up building a new system and then moving over the data.
