    Unlocking Tbreds

As far as I know all T-bred rev. B are multiplier unlocked by default... All Intel chips since maybe the pMMX have been multiplier locked... Best bargain board

Yes, I agree that USB2 is becoming more important.. and like you I can forgive it now... simply because most people looking for a bargain computer are probably using USB1 devices like printer, scanner, or maybe a digital camera... but probably dont have an external hard drive or DV camera where...

    Best bargain board

What do you guys think is the best bargain motherboard available right now? what about in 6 months? I'm wondering what people think constitutes a "bargain" board... price, features, upgradability, etc... and what motherboards fit that definition. Personally, I have thought for a few months...

    Thanks Merc: Speeze CPU cooler

I honestly dont know where you can get them in Canada, you'll have to search. The guy I know said he had two good options one was the FalconRock (original) and the other was something like a Vantec Aeroflow.. he said cost of each was in the $40CAN range and the Vantec had less "sucking noise"...

i thought kt400 was supposed to be the last... then they release 400a... im almost sceptical about a 600 now... and why the name format change? wouldn't it support 600mHz RAM following the standard Via convection that's been in place for the last several years?

    Best KT133(a) Chipset Mobo?

No. kt266 and kt266a were also designed to use SDRAM. The kt266a seems to be ~10% faster than the 266, and I would think the same would be true for a kt133 -> kt266... No doubt in my mind that the 266a is atleast as fast or faster than the 133a... not sure how the non-A varients fair.
