    I'm a Big Fan

On the Thermaltake Versa H18, according to the images I found online, there is a cutaway on the motherboard mounting tray that allows access to that backside without removing the motherboard. Maybe just pull off the other case side and check.

Historically I've always been able to shave a few mm from a fit with basic hand tools. Usually it is as simple as using side cutters to shave off some decorative plastic somewhere. If a part fit is tight, just take a look at the image and see if there is room to be saved.

I'm certainly a fan of upgradability, but it looks like the performance trade-offs for socketed RAM is starting to become significant. If a 935 with 128GB was available right now I'd get it.

    Selfhosting fun

My family has become quite reliant on Alexa for timers, alarms, light control, and music. And one of the fun things about Framework is the ability to order parts. Like just the 395 with 128GB RAM. Still unavailable and expensive, but if you were interested in, say, building a cluster of them, one could 3d print an enclosure that uses larger fans and a single power supply.

Even the new PowerShot wouldn't really work. Pockets in girls clothing is honestly a joke. She's still 11, so her hikes are frequently interrupted by climbing trees or playing in a playground, so it really does need to fit in a small pocket. I can't speak towards "not too expensive" as I haven't been looking in that space, but the Level1Techs KVMs get outrageously good reviews, and don't seem too crazy for what they are. That said, every time I consider getting one a PiKVM suits my needs better. Edited to point to 4-port model

5090FE power connectors are already melting. From some videos I've seen, it seems that they simply wired together all the 12v lines in the 12VHP connector and shunted them as a whole, so there is no active control over how much power goes over each wire. Derbauer had a melted one in his hands...
