    Samsung Products

Lately, I've been buying and selling more and more Samsung products. Besides being competitive with their pricing, I'm beginning to enjoy their products. Most of what I’m selling from Samsung is their HDDs, FDD’s, and CD-ROM Drives. I also list them as my primary source for monitors. My next...

    Benchmarking....Again

I bring this illusory subject into our forum because of what I have read at Storage Review and in certain threads at our forum. I use the term illusory because the idea of benchmarking is rather deceptive from one set of standards, realistic for some, and confusing for many individuals...

    c't Magazine Cartoon

A great cartoon. http://www.heise.de/ct/motive/02/09/ When I look at this illustration, I see printer manufacturers drunk with their greed; relying on their unsteady income of ink. I call this income unsteady, because they've put too much confidence in a cheap mixture of water and pigments...

"Go Placidly Amid the Noise and Haste..."

Desidoreplicator The following text was found carved into the back of a Commodore CBM Business machine, dated 1-Sep-1970 Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in pressing the UPS SHUTDOWN button. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms...

    Vansmithed

A beautiful new verb used by the INQ, which can be found in this article: http://www.theinquirer.net/01050219.htm ...perhaps this verb has already been used in other articles as well, and I'm just late to the game. BR

    SuSE 8.0

This new version sounds very tempting. Have the recent updates improved the way typestyles are rendered? Plus it is cheaper the RedHat.

    Soltek SL-75DRV2 -- Failure?

NEVER! I had a customer return his computer because "the motherboard was bad". He was having issues with PCI adapters, tried them in other systems and they worked. Suddenly, he received a Check Sum Error, and then no video. He tried different PCI video cards, but to no avail. My first...

    Mozilla 0.9.8

I'm impressed at how well Mozilla 0.9.8 runs under Windows2000 and WindowsXP. It runs quite a bit quicker then Netscape6 (although I like the GUI best), but not as fast as IE6. Which browser do you use Most? The poll doesn't specify release versions, but you can still let us know. BR
