Color Laser does entirely presentable pictures these days. Not glossy, but entirely representative of what it was. We include them in estimates and presentations all the time.

Seconding Stereodude on this one. Being good a photos makes it bad at everything else. I really like the Color Laser HP MFCs. $400 will get you a good one.

One of the wonderful things about a NAS is that your storage can live elsewhere. I keep mine in the garage. It is fairly quiet until I start hitting it hard, then the grinding sound is noticeable.

I've used both with Synology units without issue. The latest was 12x 6TB WD Red.

My big question is who were these people that needed more than 20MP? Anyone here feel they didn't have enough? If you do really need all 50MP, how much trouble do you have with lens quality? Is Canon L glass all good enough to not impact things at these kinds of resolution?
