    How do people meet people?

EQ 20, SQ 56 Oh, great. I'll go right away to ask for an invalid pension so I can spend all my time in a straight chair, leaning the head, starring at a blank wall and drooling on my clothes.

1,2,3, laugh. No seriously, the memory bandwidth bench is quite useful. However, the drive bench is about as informative as Tony's seat-of-the-pants ranking ;-)

    How do people meet people?

    30. Didn't understand clearly question 18 (edgewise???). Not sure what "pretending" means either in questions like #50 (I hate playing with kids anyway). Question #35 is unfair. Tell me a joke in French and I won't be the last one to get it. Still, 30 is less than 32, so I'm not a freak...

Do you have to wear shirt at work?

Now that's a little broad even by my standards. I would never go to work bare-chested since, besides maybe impressing the chicks (can't believe you call your women like this), it would more than likely humiliate my co-workers ;-)

    [Warranty News]: WD Changes Warranty

Wow. Can't believe I agree with an Ontario guy ;-) Since rumors want that Samsung's latest hard drives are performing ok, they will be my only choice in the future along with the 8MB cache Hitachi drives. All the others can go to Hell as far as I'm concern. Now I only need to find a local...

Do you have to wear shirt at work?

Yes, why? Is there another name for that cloth? I'm not talking about a T-shirt (that's what I always wear). Just a thing with nasty evil buttons and useless protuberances around the neck, that's never fit around the belly so that people with a strong chest-to-waist ratio cannot wear it...

Do you have to wear shirt at work?

I ask because I almost never had to in my past jobs. I probably won't escape it in my next job though. I hate shirts. And I also hate to shave. Both combine, they give me a civilised look that I can't stand. I'm just touting my chances to escape the shirt wrath in the future. I wonder why...

Not a lot of people using BitTorrent

I did install everything. Yes, Anaconda and Drake are easy to get tru, but hélas, both latest distro of Red Hat and Mandrake didn't configure the integrated LAN of the MCP (nFarce2 motherboard) correctly and refused to use it as a network peripheral despite the fact that both detected it. I...

Took me four or five complete ISO downloads before I finally got a correct md5sum for the first Slackware 9.1 disc. Yet, I still end up with an error in Perl and one in Abiword during the installation. I don't give a shit, I don't use either anyway. Slackware refused to copy Lilo in the MBR...

Not a lot of people using BitTorrent

And I've just understood why so few people use BitTorrent. Although I surprised myself and have been able to go through most of the installation process (it's not that hard), the setup failed because many applications had fatal errors when the installer tried to put them on my hard disk drive...

Cable & Wireless not present in Québec/Canada?

They just got out of a long strike/lock-out last year and since then, the company uses subcontractors instead of hiring new employees. Levelling by the bottom for workers, that's the beauty of capitalism. More money to stock owners and less for workers. What a great concept isn't it?

What's the point of making a Celeri with more cache than a P4? 533MHz FSB or not, at 3.2GHz and with a lot of fast L2 cache, it would still be a very potent performer.
