That's a gene with 97 positions to filter. These aren't my terms, that's how the client call them. Once they are calculate, they call the positions residues. Check the command line windows of the G@h client and this page for instance.

The games using DirectX 9 features should benefit from the goodies of the G1000. The 3DLabs P10 will only have a few DirectX 9 features, it won't be fully compliant with it.

I don't care if the header remains like it currently is or if it passes through a slimming cure. I suggested to modify it only to please our low definition members. I use either 1024x768 or 1280x960 so I don't have too many problems viewing the forum as it currently is.

The Genome@home stats server has been down for quite a while. It's frustrating that it continues to work for the top teams but not for most of the others. They should really do something to enhance their uptime. So far, it's been so bad that it makes me wonder if they are running their server...

The Altec Lansing AVS-300 have received praises in several reviews. They aren't too expensive either (45$CDN, about 28-30U$). It's plastic, so yes there's some vibrations, but for the price, they aren't bad.
