I think it's programs from the MS App Store that doesn't shut down if you exit them - and you can close them too (Google directed me to http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/faq ) I don't think Metro is such a big deal, at least not at the moment. I've been running the CP at work since...

    Beverages

It depends, I think most people would enjoy a glass of Bruichladdich or Bowmore. It's the distilleries on the south coast, Ardbeg, Lagavulin and Laphroaig that makes the peaty stuff. By the way, Talisker has a similar character to the south coast Islay whiskies even if it's from the Isle of Skye...

The Glenlivet is very enjoyable, a very good all rounder. I don't know if I've recommended any Japanese whisky like the Yamazaki 12, but the Japanese usually makes very smooth and delicate whiskies. Unfortunately I haven't tried the Yamazaki 18 (it cost like a 2TB HDD here :) ) but it's probably...

    Beverages

:nono: :nono: ;) I can't drink or even smell Irish whiskey, they only smell and taste alcohol. I don't like all single malts either, but a good whisky shouldn't taste alcohol at all and it's usually bottled at >=43%.

You could always try it at a bar before you get a whole bottle. The Macallan has a very special character, it's not bad but I don't think it tastes like whisky.

No, but a CD player from lets say 2008 is better than a CD player from 1983. Why? But wasn't the CD's played bit-perfect back in 1983? And what was the sound like? I'm glad that there are some open minded engineers out there who knows that there's always room for improvements - or we would still be listening to bit perfect crap. ;)
