I am familiar with image stacking, but the most I've heard of is about 20 images. This has the potential to do a lot more. I'm tempted to experiment with that. What is your favorite astrophotography-like image stacking program?

The specs look great, and ASUS has a generally decent reputation for build quality, but it falls down with regard to service. Before you buy, just try to get a hold of their technical support. If you are happy with that experience, go for it.

Hold out for the 5970 4GB; the larger framebuffer helps @ 1920x1080 and higher.

I'll second both of the recommendations above. Scythe S-Flex are my favorite.

The new Command and Conquer is truly awful. I've never seen such bad graphics @ 1920x1080. Gameplay sucks as well. Its as if they thought that coding for base creation was too hard, so the don't let you anymore. Battlefield: Bad Company is good so far, played for about 4 hours.

My first visit isn't until 1600GMT most days, but I'm usually on until 0600GMT, which seems to be the "late shift" for most of our regulars.
