K6-2 450 MHZ AMD: Compatibility problems???

Tell you what Tannin. I'll collect the info for Intel processors if you will do for AMD. I have the information I was looking for Intel but I'm having a heck of a time finding info on AMDs site. From my perspective, the process technology used is unimportant. Why? The only reason knowing the...

K6-2 450 MHZ AMD: Compatibility problems???

A very thorough synopsis. The new site design? Any chance of adding chip power information. I'm trying to shoot low-middle of the performance road but with low power requirements. Oh, and inexpensive. I was initially thinking the most recent cyrix chip, but one of the older AMD chip might fit...

K6-2 450 MHZ AMD: Compatibility problems???

What Intel chip was the K6-2 supposed to compete with? How well? Is the cache chip upgradable on these boards like on pentium boards or are these really just pentium boards that will recognize the K6?

K6-2 450 MHZ AMD: Compatibility problems???

That's funny. I was did a Google search about a week ago for something computer related. One of the hits was for a William "Bloody" Buckley and the synopsis meantioned Oz. Since it was Oz related but not related to the question at hand, I didn't investigate the story any further but filed it...

    G@H As A Service

BTW, the method described in the MS article is the method I use with the addition that I create a subkey on the level of Application called AppDirectory and put the path to the app in there. Then I use pstools from SysInternals to control the service. For those of you with dual boxes, I renamed...

Serious Sam has some steep requirements IIRC. I mostly play (when I play) AOEII, Rainbow Six - Urban Operations, Ghost Recon. Ghost Recon is much better than any Halflife based game/mod. You don't bounce around the screen like Mario with a gun. You can lie prone. It is half-half...

I think that is me. No one would be foolish enough to usurp my ID. I checked the creation date of my G@h folder and it was created 12/13/01. The gene you found I had finished on 1/08/02. Looks like it takes me a month to finish a gene.

I am running one computer at the moment. It is a dual celeron 550, 512MB. G@h says I've completed 1 superloop and 7 subloops. Whwn I started it a minute ago it said I was starting with sequence 23. It also says I have 71 positions to filter. I have no idea what I have to get to finish this gene.

Good questions to ask at an interview

When going for an interview it is a very good idea to know the company you are interviewing with and what they do. Researching the company is a good first step. Deleting PMs vague

When you choose to delete a checked private message, the system will ask you if you are sure but not tell you which one you are deleting. I'd like a little more feedback on which message the system thinks I want to delete.

Is there a way to shut up Jason for a while?

Privately, to myself(whoops not anymore) I refer to it as Jason's news regurgitation service. I think a kindly worded message to Jason and CCed to webmaster@SR would be the first step. If all the annoyed people did this, the volume would be too big not to notice, if not for Jason then Eugene...
