10Gb would be awesome if you were running a business and needed that pipe but I'm with ddrueding, I'd rather the 1Gb and f I needed more I'd team them. none the less I'm happy to see this kind of offering popping up on the east coast. Vermont is nice but I don't think I'd see myself moving there permanently.

I have 1Gbps at the datacenter and I can say that there's really not a practical difference for normal home user activity between 100Mbit and 1Gbit. Youtube still won't load instantly and you still get occasional jaggies on Netflix for reasons that have nothing to do with the speed of your pipe. Downloading ISOs can be super fast, but even if you're the world's biggest Steam addict or install Linux distros at the drop of a hat, how often do you do that?
