Can someone please post a graphical explanation for the Lunar mister.

(Ddrueding implied there was only two persons interested in off-brand VCRs on Craiglist)

I see, but there are probably more than you think. A fair number of people have something of interest on old VHS tapes and want to view or copy them to DVD, etc.

Actually it was I who was making that presumption. DVD to VHS is a different matter, as they make single units for that prototype that work great.

Actually, those things don't work great. Those things make a weirdo disc called a DVD-VR that has very limited compatibility with anything other than another set-top recorder.

They seem to work well with computers. I use them as the first step to getting VHS onto a computer.

Not in my experience they don't. You need Nero or Roxio or Ulead software to extract the video if absolutely any edits (e.g. commercial skips or multiple titles on the same disc) have been made on the discs.

I purchased about 8 of the Panasonic DVD recorders over the years and they all (including the combo) play fine on DVD players other than the most ancient ones. Some of the recorders do produce a kind of copy protection that needs to be addressed when accessing the disc in a computer.

Just started an outlook.com email address. I'm curious how bad the spam situation is. My hotmail address is about useless because of spam, so bad I had to set it to exclusive to keep out 30+ a day.

So did I. I doubt I will use it, but I like to reserve an account just in case.

TV is overpopulated with the rerun Olympics. Everything else seems to be a repeat.

what are you talking about? I'm not married and I've never visited the exotic dance joints.

Sometimes you just make friends with them and they crash on your couch because they're drunk after work and want to watch Harry Potter movies on a big TV.

Just got the lost box set, never seen it. Between this and my breaking bad sub my offline tv viewing is good for a couple more months.

So far this one has already cost the equivalent of paying cash for an S4, and it is still -7.5 months old. Yay technology.

I want to make sure it is a boy before proposing Zoltan...otherwise she might think I'm strange. ;)

Congratulations and good luck.
Start developing patience now if you don't already have an abundance of it.

Ouch, that must be the interesting story and legal stuff you mentioned a few months back. I hope everything works out or has worked out already. I wish you and your wife the best!

dd, Congratulations!

Having children is certainly a life changing event! As Stirker mentions, patience will see you through most things, and sometimes an S10 or M50 gas mask is needed as well! :-o

The teen years are the toughest. Patience wears thin and you will pulling what is left of your hair out.
