Really?I really don't know what that is.
I didn't say he would be interested. I'm just surprised he's never heard of it. It's been on TV every year since 2001 I think. They still have clothes on, and all they do is walk. Why would Merc be interested?

I've never watched the show. My brother, who is considerably younger than me, was incredulous when I told him. Many people have thought I would like BBT but it still feels too predictable even if the jokes are nerdy.
Digital broadcast is a lot less forgiving than analog was. Even when I had an almost straight shot to the tower from which most of the channels here broadcast, there were ones that I couldn't get all of the time. That sounds like a good system. Around here the TV is spotty on some channels after they moved the HD frequencies around.
SciFi was a good channel. SyFy sucks goat balls. They should pay people to watch all that cheesy SciFi channel stuff. Well, most of it.
I think that they want you to subscribe to Showtime. That's really how they make money....They did stream Dexter in the past. I was able to stream seasons one and two but then had to get season 3 and 4 on bluray. I think it was just a falling out with Showtime with regards to licensing.[/url]
PanAm is fast becoming one of my favorite shows.
As good as Mad Men? I read some reviews that suggested it wasn't.
The problem is cannibalization. It's the same problem that newspapers have.If they could work out a deal to get revenue through streaming, it might be in their interest to gain more customer revenue from whatever amounts of people like myself who won't subscribe.
That's pretty much what I do, get them via other means and get the dvd/bluray later. Problem is there are plenty of shows not really worth that second step. I wouldn't mind paying to stream them near their air date, if I could.

Wait. Burn Notice was good at some point?
Basically I watch that because Bruce Campbell + regular doses of eye candy. There is no deeper level than that.
Did anyone watch Season 2 of The Walking Dead on AMC?

I have one episode left to watch. I don't exactly get the plot arc this half season beyond simply surviving the challenges of living in a post apocalyptic world full of zombies.I watched it. I have mixed feelings about Season 2, but if you haven't seen it I don't want to spoil anything. I felt like things dragged a bit near the middle. They really were focus-heavy on the drama aspect and I felt like their surrounding was too safe for my liking. They still had moments of engaging the walkers, but I felt like it was at their own stupidity.
Fangirls need to be thrown the occasional homo-erotic bone. I wouldn't begrudge them that.
There is a theory that I subscribe to, that most girls who are interested enough in science fiction and comic books and fantasy novels are at least bicurious if not more-than-curious. They're cool with cleavage-y adventure heroines in spandex and skintight leather and chainmail bikinis, and if they think it's fun to see dudes get it on too, I'm OK with that.
