Moving 800GB MS Exchange 2010 Database

I've fixed my problem. I've create a new virtual drive in Hyper-V and chose to copy the content of the physical disk containing Exchange'S database. Done. No database migration needed. Physical disk to virtual disk replacement instead.

Moving 800GB MS Exchange 2010 Database

I've asked for help in form of paid support, but it was denied by the management. It is now 8:45pm on a Saturday, I'm at the office and I have to do this NOW. There's nothing like learning new stuff on production setups.

Moving 800GB MS Exchange 2010 Database

Not an Exchange expert here. I have to move the database of our MS Exchange 2010 server because I have to modify (read "destroy" and "recreate") the volume currently hosting it. Can I simply create a network share on a fast server with a fat network pipe and move it there using this guide or...

    Server maintenance - 2015-10-22 9:00:00 AM UTC

They are quite lucky to be able to do maintenance during normal work hours. I've spent last night up doing emergency maintenance on our main cluster shared volume to prevent a lost of service to our employees. I've worked from 1am to 7am. I came back to the office a few hours later to finish...

I've checked the weight specification and at 4lbs, it's within your limit. Having used an X1 Carbon aside the T440 (haven't seen a T450 yet), I prefer the X1 Carbon. The screen is better and being 1.23lbs lighter, it's much more portable. You do what you want, but the smaller model felt...

The Pro Book are a no go IMO. Way too fragile, keyboard sucks, screen can be bent easily, feels flimsy, etc. A Lenovo T Series would be too big, but the X1 Carbon is a very nice and small laptop. On HP side, I've recently bought two HP ZBook 15 G2 and they were quite nice. However, even the...

AMD won't release Zen CPU before Q4 2016 (too late)
