    question Good SATA card?

Found a 4-port SATA 6Gbps card that fits in a PCI-E 4x if that speed grade is mandatory. No idea how good it is, but I've have relatively good experiences with Startech's products in the past. They are generally a bit expensive, but they get the job done.

    question Good SATA card?

Windows 7 is listed as a supported operating system on Syba's product page. I'm not saying this cheapo card is comparable to an LSI controller, but it should be good enough for a consumer system.

    question Good SATA card?

Reliable and RAID 0 are mutually exclusive ; it's an oxymoron. That being said, I would get the same card they used in the famous Backblaze 135TB server : Syba SY-PEX40008. If it was reliable enough for Backblaze, it should be for you too. Syba might have released a newer model with SATA...

I now have to configure 4 network interfaces within the zones, but I only have two physical NICs. With anet, I can only create a temporary VNIC that will disappear when the zone is shutdown. I need permanent VNICs working in the zones. So far, I haven't found a solution. This is only for the...
