I'm not sure what you mean by the 'whole process'. Did you mean the vehicle itself? Or hydrogen production? I don't know enough about the latter to comment really but I do know there is virtually an unlimited supply of hydrogen available vs. a very finite amount of crude oil left.

Can you imagine the drain on power resources nation-wide if we go all electirc in this counrty? We'll be building new power plants all over the place. Fossil fuel plants too by current standards possibly negating any energy savings the electric vehicles provide (?).

Yeah that's what's holding them back now. Of course hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe so once the gas stations are converted - problem solved - but that could take a long time!

I saw this Honda fuel cell vehicle reviewed on Top gear and it was impressive. http://automobiles.honda.com/fcx-clarity/ Unlike other electric vehicles it performs as well in speed, range etc. as today's gas guzzlers.

I have to take issue with calling this concept "green" considering it's reliance on municipal electricity. We'll all be driving hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in the future.
