I don't really believe in burn-in when it comes to headphones. I had a set that I didn't like that were reported to change dramatically over a burn-in / break-in period. After 250 hours of "burn-in" I still didn't like them. I can't say I noticed any changes.

That's probably because they can't appreciably improve on the performance of the 850 Pro and still use SATA.

Some drives rip faster than others with EAC in secure mode. That's pretty slow. If you're using accurate rip you'll know if they're ripped incorrect even if you rip with it set for speed.

I didn't realize that the update in the 2nd link was one of the updates the script removed. So yes, I ran the script to uninstall the bunch of updates and then installed 3065987 so I could then add the key to the registry to stop Windows 7 from updating itself.

FWIW, this was definitely the right thing for me. I'm a few days less than 1 year in and I've used ~20% of the block I bought. Now I will admit to being a bit more selective in what I use my block for, but even if I threw out the other 80% I'd still have cut my yearly spend in half.

3D ISO playback is not trivial. The open source software generally doesn't play nice with 3D. Mainly because FFMPEG doesn't support MVC deciding. Rasp Pi 2 can playback MVC with its hardware decoder. Unfortunately 3D ISO handling in Kodi is not there yet. MKV and m2ts apparently works fine...
